How to reset Binance password on computer and phone?

You are worried that during the process of using Binance, you unfortunately forget the Binance password. This can affecting transactions or, more seriously, you will lose your account.

The article below will show you how to reset Binance password on both web and Binance app. Note that during the process of Binance password reset, the withdrawal function will be disabled within 24 hours due to security reasons.

How to reset Binance password 

Step 1: Go to Binance homepage, and then press [Log In]

Or click [Log In/Register] on Binance app.

Step 2: On the login page, tap [Forgot password?]

Step 3: Press [Continue]

Step 4: Enter your email address or phone number. Then press [Next].

Step 5: Slide to complete the puzzle for security verification.

Step 6: Click [Get code], you will receive an email or messenger from Binance/Google Authenticator. Enter the 6-digit code, and then press [Next] to complete security verification.

Note:

• If your account is registered by email and you’ve enabled SMS 2FA, you can reset your Binance password via your mobile phone number.

Step 7: Enter your new Binance password and then press [Next]

Step 8: Successfully reset Binance account password. You are able to log in with the new password.

How to reset Binance password in case you can’t access to an email account

In this case, you need to prepare a new email address to reset Binance password. Note that this email address has never been signed up for any account on Binance. In addition, for security reasons the withdrawal function will be locked within 48 hours.

Step 1: Enter the email and password and then press [Log In]

Step 2: Tap [Security verification unavailable?]

Step 3: Tap on the box [(your email address) is unavailable and I would like to change my email address] then press [Confirm reset].

Here you can also reset the identity verification device here, such as Google/SMS verification, if not available.

Step 4: Enter a new email address. Note that this email address has never been signed up for any Binance account. Press [Send Code] and enter the code that has been sent from the new mail. Click [Reset Now].

Step 5: You need to answer some questions related to identity verification or complete the facial recognition process to further confirm your identity based on the Identity Verification level in your account.

Press [Start answering questions] and follow the instructions to complete.

Step 6: Open the Binance app to scan the QR code to complete on a mobile device or tap [Use PC to do verification] on your computer.

Step 7: Please do not wear a hat, glasses, or use a filter during facial recognition. At the same time make sure there is enough light. Tap [Continue] when you’re ready.  Step 8: After successful verification, you can close the Binance App and tap [I have completed this on my phone] on your computer.
